Camp Nurse
Try Camp Nursing
I would like to take a few minutes to introduce myself. My name is Marie. I have been a nurse for 20 years and a camp nurse for over 8 years in the Northeast United States. I love camp nursing! I find working at summer camp one of the most challenging and rewarding fields in nursing. I have been working at a resident camp for the past 7 years now and love it! Whether working at a resident or day camp, they both have many challenges. Check out the link and product page with the job descriptions for both. I have listed numerious camp positions avaliable by state. To help with your job search, I have links to each state health department and the board of nursing agency for the camps that are listed on my website. When looking for jobs, do not just look in your license state, be adventurous, and remember reciprocity. Reciprocity is when one state will recognize another state's license. The fee can range from $50 to $200 and most camps will reimburse you for this. Try camp nursing! It is fun and you will love it too!!
Check out the job pages above with new jobs for 2009 summer.
Sincerely,
